Hamidi Mosque – El Mina
El Mina’s Hamidi Mosque was built on the remains of the first official school established there by the Ottoman authorities.
The mosque bears the name of Sultan Abdul Hamid II. Its construction commemorated the twenty-fifth anniversary of his accession to the Ottoman throne.
