Restaurant and Terrace – Rashid Karami International Fair

The fair’s elevated restaurant is positioned above a water reservoir in a tower more than 25 meters high. Its terrace looks across the exhibition grounds toward the sea and the mountain peaks of North Lebanon. A walkway over water connects the surrounding area to the tower’s entrance at ground level.

Closed Showroom – Rashid Karami International Fair

The fair’s enclosed exhibition pavilion was conceived as one of the region’s major exhibition halls. Its program included approximately 20,000 square meters of air-conditioned indoor space and a further 40,000 square meters outdoors. Parking was planned for about 3,000 cars, supporting the scale of exhibitions and visitor activity envisioned for the center.

Open Theater – Rashid Karami International Fair

The fair’s open theater is approached by a bridge crossing a water basin. Visitors then pass beneath a tall arch before reaching the seating area. This sequence of water, bridge and monumental arch gives the theater its distinctive geometric composition. The audience space was designed to accommodate approximately 1,200 people.
