Al Hujayjiya Mosque
The date of Al Hujayjiya Mosque’s construction remains uncertain. Its square minaret has led to the historical interpretation that the tower originally belonged to a Crusader church.
Under this interpretation, the Mamluks adapted the earlier religious building for use as a mosque, retaining the tower as its minaret.
